Overview of WMD
A CCD camera acquires images of products after extrusion controlled by ASC or other means in real time.
The WMD instantly determines the product dimensions and whether they are within specifications based on the image data and records them on a large disk.
Dimension data and judgment results are displayed on the top screen as trend data.
The Cpk screen automatically calculates a line's Cpk value from the recorded data and submits it to the customer as evidence of control quality.
